Privacy Policy

Our shop recognizes the importance of protecting customers’ personal information and complies with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information of Japan (the “Personal Information Protection Act”). We handle and protect personal information appropriately in accordance with the following Privacy Policy (the “Privacy Policy”).

1. Definition of Personal Information

In this Privacy Policy, “Personal Information” means personal information as defined in Article 2, Paragraph 1 of the Personal Information Protection Act—namely, information relating to a living individual that can identify a specific individual by name, date of birth, or other descriptions contained therein (including information that can be easily matched with other information to identify a specific individual), or information that contains a personal identification code.

2. Purpose of Use of Personal Information

Our shop uses customers’ personal information for the following purposes:
  1. To provide our shop’s services
  2. To respond to inquiries and provide information related to our shop’s services
  3. To provide information about our products and services
  4. To respond to acts that violate our shop’s terms, policies, or other rules (collectively, the “Terms”)
  5. To notify customers of changes to the Terms related to our shop’s services
  6. To improve our services and develop new services
  7. To create statistical data in a form that does not identify individuals in connection with our services
  8. For purposes incidental to the above purposes of use

3. Change of Purpose of Use

Our shop may change the purpose of use of personal information within a scope reasonably deemed to be related, and in such cases will notify or publicly announce the change.

4. Limitation on Use of Personal Information

Except as permitted by the Personal Information Protection Act or other applicable laws and regulations, our shop will not handle personal information beyond the scope necessary to achieve the stated purposes of use without obtaining the customer’s consent. However, this does not apply in the following cases:
  1. When required by law
  2. When necessary to protect a person’s life, body, or property and it is difficult to obtain the customer’s consent
  3. When particularly necessary for improving public health or promoting the sound development of children and it is difficult to obtain the customer’s consent
  4. When cooperation with national or local government institutions or their contractors is necessary to carry out legally prescribed duties, and obtaining the customer’s consent may hinder the performance of such duties

5. Proper Acquisition of Personal Information

Our shop acquires personal information properly and does not acquire it by false or improper means.

6. Security Management of Personal Information

Our shop takes necessary and appropriate measures to prevent risks such as loss, destruction, falsification, or leakage of personal information, and provides necessary and appropriate supervision of employees handling personal information.
When outsourcing all or part of the handling of personal information, our shop provides necessary and appropriate supervision to ensure secure management by the outsourcing party.

7. Provision to Third Parties

Our shop will not provide personal information to third parties without prior consent from the customer, except as permitted by the Personal Information Protection Act or other applicable laws and regulations. However, the following cases do not constitute provision to third parties:
  1. When personal information is provided due to outsourcing within the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use
  2. When personal information is provided due to succession of business as a result of merger or other reasons
  3. When personal information is jointly used in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act

8. Disclosure of Personal Information

When a customer requests disclosure of personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act, our shop will confirm that the request is made by the customer本人 and disclose the information without delay (or notify the customer if such personal information does not exist).
However, this does not apply if disclosure is not required under the Personal Information Protection Act or other laws and regulations.

9. Correction, Addition, or Deletion of Personal Information

If a customer requests correction, addition, or deletion of personal information on the grounds that the information is inaccurate, our shop will confirm the identity of the customer, conduct necessary investigations without delay within the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use, and make the appropriate correction, addition, or deletion. The customer will be notified of the result.
If a decision is made not to make such changes, the customer will also be notified accordingly.
This does not apply if the shop is not obligated to do so under applicable laws.

10. Suspension of Use or Deletion of Personal Information

If a customer requests suspension of use or deletion of personal information on the grounds that it is being handled beyond the scope of the published purpose of use or was obtained by improper means, and the request is found to be valid, our shop will confirm the customer’s identity and promptly suspend use or delete the information, and notify the customer accordingly.
However, this does not apply if the shop is not obligated to do so under applicable laws.

11. Use of Cookies and Other Technologies

  1. Our services may use cookies and similar technologies. These technologies help us understand usage of our services and improve service quality. Customers may disable cookies through their browser settings; however, doing so may limit the availability of certain service features.
  2. Our shop uses Google Analytics, provided by Google LLC, to analyze usage of our services. Information on how data is collected and processed by Google Analytics can be found on Google’s websites.
    Customers who do not wish to have their data used by Google Analytics may use the Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on.
  3. This service enables “Google Analytics Advertising Features” and uses third-party cookies such as DoubleClick cookies for advertising and site improvement, including:
    • Google Analytics Remarketing
    • Google Analytics Demographics and Interests Reports
    This allows analysis of users’ approximate age, gender, browsing history, and interests related to this service.
    Customers may disable tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on.

13. Continuous Improvement

Our shop will periodically review the operational status of personal information handling and strive for continuous improvement. This Privacy Policy may be amended as necessary.
